Paolo Lardizzone was born in Italy, in Militello in Val di Catania in Sicily. He is one of the winners of the 2012 Great Voices International Competition of the Salzburg Oper Im Berg Festival (Austria), as well as of the "Pia Tebaldini" International Competition of Brescia in Italy.

He started studying opera in 2005 in Tolentino (Mc) in Italy with the mezzo-soprano Alessia Albani then with Maestro Giacomo Rocchetti. He then perfected his technique with Maestro Nazzareno Antinori at the Academy "Beniamino Gigli" in Recanati (Mc) and with Maestro Giorgio Marighi in Jesi (An). More recently he was chosen for the Masterclass of the great Maestro Renato Bruson at the Experimental Opera Theater of Spoleto.

He made his Italian debut in 2007 as Manrico in G. Verdi's "Il trovatore" for the Castello Sforzesco Festival in Milan and then as Duke of Mantua in G. Verdi's "Rigoletto".
From 2007 to 2012 he played many roles but in 2013 he began his career internationally singing in many opera houses and international festivals, especially in Eastern Europe and Asia. Among others: Mario Cavaradossi ("Tosca" by G. Puccini) for the Ente Luglio Musicale Trapanese , the Experimental Opera Theater of Spoleto ; the Duke of Mantua ("Rigoletto" by G. Verdi) at the Varese Municipal Theater and at the Open Opera 2019 in Plovdiv (BG) ; Edgardo ("Lucia di Lammermoor" by G. Donizzetti) at the Masini Theater in Faenza ; Enzo Grimaldo ("La Gioconda" by A. Ponchielli), Compare Turiddu (“Cavalleria Rusticana” by P. Mascagni) and Canio ("Pagliacci" by Leoncavallo) at the Štátna Opera by Banská Bystrica (SK) ; Pollione ("Norma" by V. Bellini) at the Opera Krakowska in Kraków (PL) ; Pinkerton ("Madama Butterfly" by G. Puccini) for the National Polish Opera of Warsaw (PL) ; Calaf ("Turandot" by G. Puccini) at the Ekaterinburg State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater (RUS) , for the Astana Opera (KZ) and at the Bangkok Festival of Dance and Music .

In 2015 he received the nomination for the "Thálie" Award for best opera singer in the Czech Republic for the role of Edgar the opera "Edgar" by G. Puccini. In 2017 Plzeň's Divadlo JK Tyl (Plzeň Opera House) awarded him an honor for his "memorable performance" as Pinkerton (G. Puccini's "Madama Butterfly").
Since 2013 it has obtained continuous consensus, both from the public and from the critics who defined it:
